The work "Solitude" reflects the feeling of a mind in its reflective and contemplative state. One of the meanings of the island is that it represents the person themselves, and the ocean represents the vast existence in which we exist. The feeling of loneliness, silence and mystery is what gives the work its essence.

We are all an island in a great ocean, however, we are islands that float, that is, we float in existence. The act of floating is the act of letting oneself be carried by the existential wind, being part of the process of life.
